Understanding Self-Injury

Self-injury is a pattern of behavior where a person attempts to transfer emotional or psychological pain into physical pain in the hope of releasing the unwanted feelings or emotions.  What we know about self-injury is that is a great liar.  It promises relief but brings only temporary distraction from pain and it can become dangerous and addicting cycle.  The following resources are made available from trusted sources to help you understand and respond to self-injury.  If you or someone you know is engaging in self-injury, don't wait.  Get help immediately.

Our Mission

Our mission is to see lives renewed, rebuilt, and restored through quality, faith-based, client-centered counseling.
